‘Dysregulated Nervous System’ Masterclass
In the world that we are currently living our nervous system experiences high levels of pressure and it is not a surprise that we might find ourselves feeling overwhelmed and agitated. When our nervous system is oversensitive and dysregulated we might constantly switch between Fight and Flight (adrenaline-based) and Freeze/Shut Down (exhaustion) states. In most cases, it would happen automatically, without much of our awareness, since our biological body is programmed this way and operates on its terms. However, if our nervous system becomes overreactive, we might become a victim of a vicious circle running on instincts rather than consciously navigating ourselves in life.
